It's hard to believe it's been 50 years since we walked through the halls of East Chicago Washington High School. The class of 1976 left a legacy of spirit, pride and lifelong bonds. Now it's time to celebrate everything we've shared. Our 50th class reunion will be a weekend of reconnections, laughter and nostalgia. Whether you've stayed in touch or haven't seen classmates since graduation, this is your chance to relive old memories and make new ones.
This website was created specifically for our upcoming 50th class reunion. Information and feedback on the event will be posted on this site only. So spread the word to all our classmates to come to this specific site for all the up-to-date information on our class reunion.

The Formal Dinner/Dance for Day 2 has been confirmed and is scheduled for September 5, 2026, at the Blue Chip Casino in Michigan City, IN. A cocktail reception will precede the event from 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm, with dinner served between 6:30 pm and 8:00 pm, followed by the dance from 8:00 pm to 11:00 pm. Additionally, a block of 48 hotel rooms will be reserved for guests who wish to stay at the casino. More information will follow later, on how and when to book a room.
Currently, we do not have a set price point because the committee has yet to reach a consensus regarding Day 1 and Day 3. The survey will remain available (click the SURVEY tab at the top), so if you have not participated yet, please take a moment to share your preferences for those days.

The pie sale has concluded. The committee extends heartfelt thanks to everyone who contributed, whether by buying a pie or donating. All funds raised will help cover expenses for the class reunion that are not part of the attendee’s fee. We hope these efforts, along with upcoming raffles and sales, will help reduce your overall reunion costs.
Please continue to share updates about this site. Further details concerning the date and location for Day-2 will be communicated soon along with the announcement of our first online raffle which will be open to our entire class. Prizes may include a set of tickets for the dinner/dance or maybe a complimentary one-night hotel stay. You won’t know unless you visit this site regularly for the latest news and event updates.
Surveys are trickling in but not as many or as quickly as we hoped. Please remember that the reunion planning depends on your input and if we don't get enough feedback, we'll have to make some executive decisions ourselves. Many thanks to those classmates who have completed the survey. Your feedback & suggestions have been duly noted.
A question was raised regarding the wording of the days on the Events Page. This has now been addressed, and please rest assured that no decisions have been finalized for any of the three days. The activities planned for each day will be determined by the survey responses we receive, so encourage everyone to visit this site and complete the survey.
